- How do sensory disorders affect your life?
- My 4-year-old daughter has trouble with shoes, socks, and clothing. It is extreme and an everyday struggle. She also has difficulty with food textures and smells, and as a result has a very narrow diet, despite the fact that I, her, Dad, and her older sister eat a wide variety of foods at home. We have struggled with the food issues since she was very young.
- About Me:
- In addition to taking care of my husband and two daughters, I work part-time as an in-home teacher for a 12-year-old boy with Aspergers Syndrome and sensory issues. I enjoy cooking, gardening, and crafting.
