Probably something soft like a fleece or maybe cotton. Fleece dose tend to stick to itself, that may bother her. Try things that are maybe 1/2 a size too big. I know I don't like things to be fitted. Never have.

Profile Information

How do sensory disorders affect your life?

Autism specifically High Functioning, though now that it has been 10 years since the diagnosis you would probably cannot tell. I am the only one in my immediate and extended family with autism or anything for that matter. Nothing even in family history.

About Me:

I'm a person with High Functioning Autism. I was diagnosed at 21. I had no theropy, meds or special diet. I am the only one in my immediate and external family with Autism or any other special needs. Once my family got the diagnosis we just did lots of research together. I now work, live independently and love it. I do have Region Center Services and have a quarterly and annual ipp review.

Work

You might wonder what I do? Well I work at a preschool. Yes preschool. I do just fine with that. I can't see myself doing anything else. I will no doubt be at the same job for the rest of my life.
