My son was diagnosed with PDD-NOS when he was 3. He is now 7 and I think he is showing a-typical signs of SPD. I'm still waiting for an up-coming appt. to confirm. Evan needs to wear headphones to the cafeteria daily for lunch at school or he can't eat because of the noise. We also have a pair at home in case we need them. It varies how some noises bother him, while some do not. He avoids alot of foods because of their texture, especailly fruits & vegetables & pasta. There are many other symptoms he shows in under-responsivity and over-responsivity. Otherwise he is a very happy & loving boy who is the sunshine of my life!
