- How do sensory disorders affect your life?
- I was diagnosed with ADHD at 30 years of age. Being a female with above average intelligence, it is thought that I demonstrated great skills of compensation throughout my education. I "hit my wall" as I began working on a Master's degree! My children exhibit some symptoms, my son much more than my daughter - due to addictive family histories, he refuses to consider medication.

- I have been a school counselor for 20 years, am very active in my church, 12 step meetings, and have been happily married (this time!) for 18 years.
